What is panchakarma

Panchakarma is the Ayurvedic traditional form of medicine used to cleanse the body, flush out toxins and improve immunity.

Ayurveda is mainly to help rejuvenate, replenish and help prevent any further harm to the body, but it is also useful to help an unbalanced body become balanced(fixing the problems).

Panchakarma is a very body specific treatment meaning we will change our treatment according to what you need and what will best help to nourish your body. When doing the treatment we will be with you every step of the way and make sure the treatment is having the best outcome.

To find exactly what your body will react positively to we will use your prakruti or dosha to find what body type you are either vata, pitha or kapha, we can also find what your aggravation is to find what type of treatment would best balance you.
Once I started using auyrveda and Panchakarma I definatly saw a difference. Unlike modern medicine we look for a treatment that wont just hide the symptoms we look for something that will balance the body to fix the root of the problem the cause which is usually a more minor problem. A treatment depending on the body and issue can take several weeks but by the end you will not only see but feel the difference in and outside yourself.

There are different treatments for all the different dosha types:

Abhyanga
Shirodhara
Bolus Bag
Mukhabhyanga (Face massage)
Shiro Abhyanga (Head Massage)
Kadi Vasti (localised treatment)
Sneha Karma (Medicated ghee)
Purgation
Marma massage ( massage using the vital points)

Traditionally ayurvedic Drs use 5 Panchakarma treatments to treat dosha disbalances.
